Spiked Hot Chocolate
Recipe from the Canadian Food Network
- Over medium heat, heat 5 ounces of dark chocolate and 4 cups of homogenized milk in a saucepan, stirring until chocolate has fully melted. Whisk until mixture is hot and frothy.
- Add 1/2 of Kahlua liqueur and 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract and continue to whisk until mixture is hot.
- Remove from heat, pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa or garnish with grated chocolate.
Spanish Coffee
Recipe from the Canadian Food Network
1. Rim a tall heavy glass mug with sugar.
2. Drizzle in a little Galliano and swirl around the inside of the mug.
3. Add 1-ounce of Brandy and ¾-ounce of Cointreau followed by 4 to 5-ounces rich roasted coffee.
4. Top with whipped cream and a splash of coffee liqueur.
